Champagne Brunch Bridal Shower
Event planner, Erica Schnell, became the bride to be in this Champagne Brunch Bridal Shower. Erica is Director of The Ice House & Crushed Ice Catering located in Louisville, Kentucky. According to her article she tried her best to resist planning her own shower; however, she eventually relented & helped in the planning.
As you can see, their catering is outstanding. Keep in mind if you are planning a bridal shower & have the resources, consider the idea of having it catered. When you cater the bridal shower, all the work is done for you. You just have to work with your bride-to-be on the theme, date, menu, invitations, and other important considerations. By catering, you just have to appear feeling resting and not stressed out about forgetting something. Also, no running around having to shop for decorations, cooking, or cleaning.

Celebration called for champagne! As you can see, each champagne glass has a crisp strawberry and labeled with tags stating, “Erica’s Shower”.
…………………. it is important to have these precious memories captured, and to have the right team of professionals by your side. The Bride may only catch a small glimpse of what is happening at that moment in time, whereas a photographer can see many different angles, people, conversations and lighting that will not only be ingrained in guests’ memories – but now are physical photographs that can be displayed for many years to come. ….posted by Erica.
A pie bar was set up.
Several types of pastries, miniature potato rosti cakes with Capriole Farms goat cheese, tomato & red pepper jams, deviled eggs with bacon shards & homemade hot sauce, and Hors d’Oeurves were served. As well as fresh baked cookies, croissants, and Louisiana style boiled shrimp & blood mary shooter.
Erica’s personal favorite is vol-Au-vents, which are the small hollow puffed pastries, ring-shaped.
Catering table was decorated with fresh flowers and classic white serving dishes under a golden, formal chandelier. No need to be a server when you have caterers attending to each of your guest’s needs. Allows the hostess to freely mingle with guests. No worrying about refilling the serving dishes or amount of food.
